Hi, today i want to explain a little bit something of korean language (what a word???) inside of my dumb brain :) Korean alphabet are called 한글 (han-geul). I forget about it's history and lets try not to remember... :) hahaha....

Let's start with consonant:

ㄱ = (g) giyeok (sounds like g in gold)
ㄲ = (kk) kiyeok (sounds like k in kick)
ㅋ = (kh) khieok (sounds like k in cold)
ㄴ = (n) nieun (sounds like n in no)
ㅁ = (m) mieum (sounds like m in my)
ㅂ = (b) bbeiub (sounds like b in blow)
ㅃ = (p) pieub (sounds like p in plum)
ㄷ = (d) digeut (sounds like d in deal)
ㄸ = (t) tigeut (sounds like t in tar)
ㅅ = (s) sieot (sounds like s in sun)
ㅆ = (ss) ssang sieot (more power than regular s)
ㅎ = (h) hieut (sounds like h in hire)
ㄹ = (l) lieul (sounds like l in law)
ㅍ = (ph) phieup (sounds like ph in physic)
ㅊ = (ch) chieut (sounds like ch in cheat)
ㅈ = (j) jieut (sounds like j in jelly)
ㅉ = (jj)sang jieut (more power than regular j)
ㅌ = (th) thigeut (sounds like th in throw)
ㅇ = (-) ieung (when in the first position no sound. when in the last position sounds like -ng) example:
강 = river (gang)
아버지 = father (a-beo-ji NOT nga-beo-ji)

Confused??? Good... :) Lets continue on vowels:

ㅏ = a (what)
ㅑ = ya
ㅣ = i (we)
ㅓ = eo (sun)
ㅕ = yeo
ㅜ = u (root)
ㅠ = yu
ㅡ = eu (hard to give an examples)
ㅗ = o (boat)
ㅛ = yo
ㅔ = e (yes)
ㅖ = ye
ㅐ = ae (aerial)
ㅒ = yae

ㅔ and ㅐ sometimes are hard to difference, but i bet someday you will understand! :)
